This privacy policy applies to the website www.inter-track.com operated by INTERCEPT Technology GmbH. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it only in accordance with the law (GDPR, German BDSG).

3. Hosting and server log files

When you access this website, the server automatically collects and stores information in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the browser and operating system used, and the volume of data transferred. This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functional and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IP addresses are shortened or deleted after seven days at the latest.

4. Demo request form

When you use the "Request a demo" form, we process the data you enter: first name, last name, work email address, company, industry, estimated fleet size, and your message. This is based on your active consent (the confirmation checkbox).

The purpose of processing is to handle your enquiry and to contact you. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.

Your enquiry is delivered to our inbox by email via our mail provider IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, with whom a data-processing agreement is in place; processing takes place in Germany / the EU. Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully handled and no statutory retention periods apply.

If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

6. Local storage in your browser

This website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics or marketing services. To remember your language choice (EN/DE) and colour theme (light/dark), we use your browser's local storage. This information stays exclusively in your browser, is not transmitted to us or any third party, and contains no personal data.

7. Fonts

All fonts are served locally from our own server. There is no connection to any third-party server (such as Google Fonts) and therefore no transfer of your IP address to third parties for the purpose of rendering fonts.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, as well as a right to object. You may withdraw any consent given at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact datenschutz@intercept-technology.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
